Public speaking

Ed is an experienced speaker, having addressed audiences of hundreds in person and online at events, rallies, public meetings and fundraisers.

Hosting and panels

A confident panelist and interviewer used to asking and answering tough questions, Ed can host and appear on panels about neurodiversity.

Media interviews

Ed is press and broadcast-trained and available to speak with the public on issues affecting neurodivergent people at work.

Ed's story

Since 2023 Ed has directed AssistND, who provide workplace support services and coaching for neurodivergent people and training for organisations who want to work better with neurodivergent customers, colleagues or volunteers.

Ed himself has Autism and ADHD. He set up AssistND in 2023 to help other neurodivergent people not just cope at work, but also thrive within and outside their working lives.

During his career Ed has delivered some groundbreaking projects, worked with high-profile clients, and received extensive praise. But he's also found the world of work hard.  Like many neurodivergent people, he's struggled to get the support he needs to have a proper work/life balance.

Before setting up AssistND, Ed was a Campaign Manager for a political party, working on high-profile parliamentary campaigns. He previously was a Production Manager for one of the world's leading online education companies, and has worked in a variety of fields from Student Unions to Opera houses.

Outside of the business, Ed is a local authority councillor in his home city of Bristol. He is an avid Coventry City fan, a trained composer and loves a cracking owl sanctuary.

Conversation starters

Here's some of the things you might like Ed to talk about with your audiences:

  • The jobs market for adults with Autism, ADHD and other neurodivergent conditions.
  • Effectively supporting neurodivergent colleagues in your workplace.
  • The intersection between neurodiversity, disability and other protected characteristics.
  • Challenges with the government's Access to Work programme and the impact on disabled and neurodivergent people.
  • Living with Autism and ADHD as an adult.
  • Lived experience of Autism and ADHD in the workplace.

  • Neurodiversity in public life, including representation in the media.
  • Running my own business as a neurodivergent person.

Please do not feel limited by the options on this list. If there's something topical or something else relating to neurodiversity you'd like me to speak about, let's talk!
